"This is Rose speaking. We are an energy personality essence and therefore we are aware that you may not be familiar with our kind, so to speak. We are nonphysical in terms that we do not incorporate physical bodies in the sense that we are alive in the world, but we are connected to many focuses [lifetimes] in many realities, from which we engage and determine our information that we provide to you though Joanne, our lovely channeler. We are aware that you may be new to this experience, and would like to provide a few suggestions in order to get the most from it.

"One, try to relax. We are you in the sense that you are Divine and you must be reminded of it. We will be reminding you of this fact as often as we can.

"Now, onto two. We are not any better than you are. We are the same as you, only looking at things from a different perspective, so do not be intimidated. We suggest you behave exactly the same with us as you do with any other ‘ghost’ you may meet in your daily lives.

"Three, be aware that we are not infallible. There are many beautiful and probable things in the Universe, so much that no one can possibly know all of it. This is not a test, you can beautifully expect tests but this is not one.

"Four, there will be tests! This is in order to provide you ways in which you may best trust your own selves to come up with the correct answers. In other words, we are not the gurus, you are; we just teach you to become the gurus that you already are. So be aware that there is some distortion in our translation of the beautiful colors of All-That-Is, due to the nature of the energy exchange, and your ability to adequately interpret our words. We will purposefully throw in tests and curve-balls in order that you may intuit the correct information in your own ways. We trust that you will become familiar with our tests in time.

"We suggest that you begin by allowing yourself to relax and ‘rest in Rose,’ which is our way of saying, rest in the beautiful knowing of your Divinity, letting go of worry and expectation of any kind, while allowing your beautiful selves to be aware of the Divine, beautiful contradictory beings that you are. We would like to suggest that you do this before we continue.

"Now, just one last note. We expect that you will have questions, and we will leave it to you to answer these questions. We will assist you in doing so. We will be speaking to you directly in your own manner, in your thoughts, in your intuition, in your beautiful actions, in your impressions, in the birds’ songs, in your artistry – as many ways as there are to beautifully connect with your Divine selves, we will be there. We expect you to begin immediately by embracing your beautiful psyches in the attempt to be aware of your beautiful nature. Just listen for us in the quiet of your mental environments and be aware that we will be there to answer any questions. When you have questions about tests and other information we will be sharing, we suggest that you avail yourself of the information that we make available online.

What to expect during your session

Will my private session be made public?

Your privacy is very important to us, so all private sessions remain private. We may occasionally use an anonymous block of material on our website or other publication because it helps others with similar questions and issues, but we will not compromise a person’s privacy.

You are welcome to transcribe your private session and send it to us for the Rose archives. We will publish it in its entirely only with your written permission so that others may benefit from your experiences.

Does Joanne’s voice and expression change?

Joanne’s voice will pretty much remain the same; it gets a little lower and raspy sometimes.

Why does Rose speak slowly or softly sometimes?

It may start out slow, but the pace will pick up.

During a phone session, when can I ask my questions?

Rose usually begins with some material and will prompt for questions. If there’s a pause, give her a couple of seconds to finish as Rose may be accessing additional information. Otherwise you may interrupt a train of thought.

Will Rose answer questions about my future?

We sometimes call these “crystal ball questions.” The future is not set in stone, but is a series of probabilities. Rose occasionally makes predictions, though she will encourage exploration of various choices not being considered as well as to provide “most probable probabilities.”

Is the session recorded?

We record the session digitally, make a copy on CD, and send it to your home address, usually within a week. It’s OK to record the session on your end, but it only for personal use. We retain the copyright on Rose’s information.

Why does Rose make up words?

It is difficult to squeeze metaphysical concepts into our language, which is based on linear time and cause-and-effect thinking. So she occasionally creates new words in order to present new concepts. Definitions of her most commonly used terms (treantea, sonter, senxuality) are included in this document.

What’s the best way to prepare for a Rose session?

It’s important to formulate your questions as specifically as possible, as the process helps you to focus on your issues. Writing them down will often provide you new insights and additional questions. We also ask that you please turn off any cell-phones.

Why does Rose describe herself as a nun?

Rose started from Day 1 to use this metaphor from Joanne’s Catholic background, but this is a redefined version that is more aligned with the authentic contemplative traditions of women mystics. The feminine connotations express the rising Divine Feminine principle that is part of the current edge of evolutionary unfolding. Rose’s definition of a nun is not limited to females, as she considers Paul a “nun” as well, much to our amusement. So it is a much broader, symbolic definition of a deep inner energy seeking to rebalance the world.

Why does Rose sometimes talk funny?

Rose uses a distinct type of language to help force us out of habitual language patterns that reinforce secular thinking, and help us open to the Divine within.

Rose also speaks on different levels simultaneously. The first is directly to you and your questions. Additionally, she speaks to the collective – everyone with a similar issue or question who will come across the information.

Another reason is that she speaks to your essence or soul – the collective gestalt of your nonphysical being. Your essence is comprised of many focuses of attention, of which your physical being is one. These can be thought of as lifetimes, but in essence, time doesn’t exist. Therefore, your past, present, and future focuses exist simultaneously and in many dimensions other than our physical reality. So when we talk about past, present, or future focuses this may sound strange, but the truth is that they are as real as any other individual in our physical dimension. Rose will also often refer to you by an essence name to help you create a deeper intuitive sense of your true multidimensional nature.

Why does Rose want to speak with us? In her words…

"The agenda of Rose is to be communicating directly to you in ways that help you to entreat your essence to speak to you directly. We want you to beautifully speak to essence in your own ways, not through us. We will be helping you to do so through our lessons and expressions, so be aware that we are always here to help. This is our agenda: to serve in ways that allow you to be aware of your beautiful creations of essence, and this energy exchange will allow beautiful lessons in doing so…

"We want to suggest that you are already being beautiful essences and do not appreciate that you are beautifully creating all of your reality... For example, you do not appreciate that you are creating the very birds that grace your day, nor do you appreciate your ability to create the weather or the trees or the beautiful contradictory nature of your own being. This will be our contradictory selves’ manner in which we will accomplish toward your contradictory selves in recognizing your ability to create everything in your reality. This is the point: we anticipate that you will be exploring the nature of contradiction and this is why we are choosing to begin here...

"We expect you will be asking, why does interest in our believing in certain things allow us to create our reality? Because this is the point of your existence: to be creating of all of your reality. We expect you are now asking, ‘why do I create all of my reality?’ Because you are essence, and this is what essence does. We expect you may now be asking, ‘what does it take for me to communicate with essence?’ It only takes a very interested, meaningful approach such as examining one’s beliefs. We expect that you may be asking at this point, ‘what does the equalization of my expectations have to do with creating my reality?’ This is the point. We are saying that you are already essence, you just don’t react in ways that are essence-like. We are saying that you tend to expect to be doing one thing and not another, and this is getting in the way of your beautiful communication with essence.

"We will help to wean yourselves of this habit, so to speak, and we will be doing that by allowing you to not be so tied up in your expectations. We will do this by allowing you to be expecting more than one contrary inculcation of your being. In other words, we will be helping you to be aware of more than one type of expectation in any given moment, and the best approach to doing this is to advance in yourselves the notion that you are already creating the expectation along with several contradictory ones, and this is the point. You are so locked into your expectations, that you fear all the rest, and this is getting in your way. This is the point of reality, it goes in many different directions at once and your blindly following one set of expectations while in control of your beliefs is not the point. The point is to be allowing for many expectations to exist at once. This provides a beautiful context for the contradictory nature of yourselves in ways that help you better appreciate the expectations that come to fruition in your beautiful lives.

"So this is the point of our providing curve-balls: it is helping you to be aware of your beliefs and to address them in ways that allow contradictory expressions to be in your awareness. This will help you to connect with essence and this is the point: the extraordinary connection with essence is yours to beautifully create in terms of your everyday awareness. This will be our focus in the agenda of Rose and this is the point – to help you – that is always the point of our agenda." ~ Session 45, May 14, 2007

Words and concepts

Many concepts are being redefined as our collective consciousness continues to shift and evolve. As such, Rose creates neologisms (new words) to help push our thinking outside the box of conventional language patterns. Words you can expect to hear are:

• Feal – A combination of “feel” and “real” to emphasize being present in all feelings.

• Geanius – A combination of “gene” and “genius” to emphasize the connection between body, mind, and spirit.

• Intentionality and Families of Consciousness – We each are born with innate purpose and intention, and understanding what it is helps us to “follow our bliss.”

• Nun – A contrary way of being in the world that reclaims the transformative practices of past feminine contemplative traditions, while helping those who are ready to move beyond extreme relativistic thinking found in many New Age circles.

• Orientation – A type of perception; the types are Common, Soft, and Intermediate.

• Rest in Rose – “Rest in the beautiful knowing of your Divinity,” a way to meditate that is simple and feals great.

• Senxuality – A combination of “sexual” and “sensual,” Rose promotes the idea of enjoying our bodies, our world, and our physical senses as spiritual practice

• Sonter – The practice of “breathing in essence” to engage our inner senses and sense of Divine love.

• Treantea – A practice to fully explore choices and ease our fears caused by expectations of certain outcomes.

• Vespers – The critical, daily (preferably morning) practice of communication with essence.

• Weany girl/boy – An affectionate name for Joanne, Paul, and guests who are weaning themselves of fears and limiting beliefs.
